UMG Nashville were right to believe in Easton Corbin. His self-titled debut album sold over 43,000 copies in its first week making it the labels highest scoring debut for a male artist in seven years.
In a statement, Easton said:
"I am humbled and amazed at the thought of that many people going out and buying my record the first week. It just shows you how powerful country radio is when it comes to getting your music to the people. I am very appreciative of my label and all of their hard work."
Congratulations to Easton! You can read our review of the disc here.
